Been Busy!!!

Alright for my few followers, I am so sorry that I have not been making active posts!! Life has been a little on the crazy and busy side, especially with schooling life and my constant changing family life! However I have decided to re-attempt to run Book Nerds Anonymous and go longer than setting up and posting two posts! I however will not go back and give a review on the rest of the Hunger Games books, though they are amazing! I would actually like to move on from that to a book I have read most recently in my English class. Although this book was published in 2004, I hadn't heard of it until it was introduced via my English teacher and became this terms main assignment topic for an analytical essay. Although for me it made the book a little annoying to have to write an essay on it, it was still an incredible book and I wish to share it with you!

What is this book you may ask?

Well, it is Malorie Blackman's novel, Noughts and Crosses. This book is unique in the fact that it creates a world where the world's past racism has been reversed by changing who is being oppressed and who is the oppressor during the rise of a civil war between the two races; the noughts and the Crosses. The story closely follows the lives of two families; the McGregors, a nought family who live a rough life of poverty and hard work; and the Hadleys, a wealthy Cross family who are involved in politics. However, it more closely follows the youngest child of each family, Sephy Hadley and Callum McGregor.
